In the beginning . . .

I'm not sure this blog will even get off the ground, but I thought it important to start documenting some of my wanderings and adventures so that if no one else is interested at least my family and I can reflect back on who I am and what made me tick.  I recently realized that I'm not getting any younger and that if I didn't start recording some of the important happenings of my life, they would be forgotten and never shared.  I believe my children should know who their dad is or was as well as their children and so on.  I've lived what I consider a very full life so far and don't plan on slowing down any time soon. This blog will likely end up a mishmash of my interests and adventures (past and present), so I hope you enjoy the ride, I sure have . . .
