My Current Ultra Light Pack List
Over the past few years I've worked to drop my pack weight to what is called ultra light (UL). In order to be considered UL ones pack needs to have a base weight of no more then 10 lbs. Base weight refers to the items that do not decrease in weight as the hike progresses. All other pack items are considered consumables, they are used up, decreasing in weight with an ultimate goal of being zero by the conclusion of the hike.
There may be a way to enter a PDF on a blog but I couldn't figure it out so I hope these pictures are clear enough to read and understand. Below you will see a sample of my current pack list for my hike planned for this next summer. I intend to blog on some of these items in the future. I'm constantly working to improve this list and it does change often.
